The craniosacral system is comprised of the bones of the skull and the underlying structures membranes, cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, the sacrum and the interconnected membranes throughout the body.
Using a soft touch the practitioner releases restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system by sensing the cranial rhythmic pulse which runs throughout the body.
It is a safe form of manual treatment for many conditions. It works by supporting the body’s ability to free up restrictions and heal from physical or emotional traumas that may have occurred anywhere in the body.
Cranial Sacral Therapy is especially effective in treating any type of imbalance or restriction that leads to sensory, motor, or neurological dysfunctions in the body. As well as a conditions such as headaches and migraines, pain syndromes, muscle pain, conditions associated with disfunction, TMJ, stress, emotional issues, hormone related disorders and insomnia.
By complementing the body's natural healing processes, Cranial Sacral therapy is increasingly used as a preventive health measure and its ability to increase resistance to disease. and a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
